Fiduciary Essentials for Defined Contribution Plans

I am excited to announce that I recently completed the Fiduciary Essentials for Defined Contribution Plans (FEDC) facilitator training program sponsored by Fi360.

Throughout the FEDC course, I will be teaching sponsors, fiduciaries, and others involved in the investment process, strategies and methods to improve their fiduciary decision-making process and reduce the overall risks associated with managing their plan.

During the course, attendees will learn:

  • How to reduce compliance and litigation risks associated with the management of retirement plans

  • Strategies for implementing an effective and prudent fiduciary decision-making process

  • Understanding your important role and responsibilities as plan fiduciaries

  • How to select and work with qualified advisors, consultants and plan service providers

  • Ways to create documentation for your fiduciary file and potential DOL audits

Participants will be eligible to earn the Certificate of Completion (Fiduciary File Document) by passing the final examination with a score of 70 percent or higher and completion of training course.
